Our initial concerns about the rickety-looking old buses ability to make it up and down the steep, winding roads were soon allayed by the skill of the driver and we began to relax and enjoy the stunning views over Pago Pago and the national park. Our guide, JuJu, was entertaining and knowledgeable, and we learnt lots about the Samoan people and culture, traditional medicine, and life in the town and villages. An enjoyable tour with several stops, including a delicious traditional lunch.
