Description
This dual-purpose 4WD track not only serves as Olosega’s designated tsunami evacuation route but also offers one of the best inland hikes in the Manu’a Islands. Starting from the village water tank, the trail steadily climbs a gravel road carved into the cliffs, delivering sweeping panoramic views across Olosega Village, its crescent-shaped beach, and over to neighbouring Ofu Island.
The hour-long walk is surprisingly accessible, with a gentle incline that rewards every step with increasingly spectacular scenery. A village loop return adds a few extra minutes but offers a quiet wander through the heart of this friendly community.
