Located on the waterfront of Ta'ū Village, this historically sacred space is where the Manu'a Islands were formally ceded to the United States in 1904. Each year on 17 April, the area transforms for the Manu'a Cession Day celebration, complete with flag-raising ceremonies and the deeply symbolic ava ritual. The site features the weathered fale of the former Tui Manu'a, as well as a ceremonial flagpole and graves of past chiefs, offering a powerful sense of connection to Manu'a's royal and cultural heritage.
