Description

Located just outside Ta'ū Village, Fagamalo Cove is reached via a short and scenic 0.75 mi (1.2 km) walk that meanders through lush coastal forest along cliff edges. This peaceful path is best tackled on foot due to washouts along the gravel road, adding to the adventure without making it too difficult. Along the way, you'll spot colourful crabs darting across the trail and clinging to rocks. The walk ends at a secluded beach with crystal-clear waters—great for a dip, though often too choppy for snorkelling.

Highlights

  • Easy 15–20-minute coastal walk through lush forest
  • Secluded beach at the end, great for a swim
  • Fun wildlife spotting, including crabs along the cliffs
