Keep an eye out for this World War II pill box discreetly tucked in a driveway on the inland side of Route 009 at the northern end of Auma village. It’s one of the many wartime bunkers scattered around Tutuila, built to defend the coastline from possible Japanese invasion during the Pacific campaign.
