Your Saturday afternoon waterbike adventure begins at 3 PM when you arrive at our base at Aua Beach. You'll find us just after crossing the bridge into Aua village - we're located right at the beautiful beach itself.

We'll start with a comprehensive briefing on how to operate your waterbike. These innovative watercraft feature twin hulls that keep you perfectly stable as you pedal across Pago's sheltered waters. Each bike comes equipped with storage compartments for your belongings and convenient drink holders, so you're all set for the journey ahead.

Once everyone's comfortable with their waterbikes, we'll launch into the bay and follow our experienced guide to the amu'ula - a traditional coral bommie fishing spot right within Pago Pago Harbor. Here, we'll share the cultural significance of this special place and explain what the amu'ula means to local fishing traditions.

As we pedal through these calm waters, you'll experience something truly special. We'll share some of Samoa's proverbial speeches about the ocean - beautiful traditional words used at funerals, weddings, and large gatherings. You'll learn what these meaningful phrases represent and how they connect Samoan culture to the sea.

From our position in the bay, we'll point out the relationship between the two prominent mountains you can see - Pioa and Matafao - and share their legendary stories. Keep your eyes peeled for the abundant marine life in this area. Turtles, colourful fish, and sometimes rays are regular sightings, while seabirds soar overhead.

After an hour and a half of guided exploration and storytelling, you'll have a full hour of flexible time. We'll guide you to wherever interests you most - perhaps across the bay towards the town area or within the peaceful village of Aua itself.

We'll return to Aua Beach to conclude your adventure, typically timing our arrival perfectly as the sun begins to set over this stunning corner of American Samoa.
